Buzzcast is a next-generation platform for integrating multiple mobile content feeds, personalizing those feeds into custom channels, dynamically inserting advertisements and delivering mobile content to multiple on-device clients.
The BuzzCast client for iPhone is the first Volantis-built on-device application for mobile devices. It enables customers with iPhones to access a variety of syndicated mobile content that they can search for and choose in a natural way by taking advantage of the touch-based user interface.
With the BuzzCast client for iPhone, customers can:
- Bookmark favorite feeds
- See at a glance how many unread items have been downloaded
- Read an item summary immediately without waiting for any download to take place
- Read the full web page linked by an item, using a Safari window embedded within the client.
This means that the user does not have to switch between applications.
The BuzzCast iPhone client can be fully re-branded for each operator and published independently via the iTunes App Store, simplifying on-device provisioning and quickly enabling customers to use the service.

TheBuzzCast client for Android will offer equivalent functionality for any device based on the Google Android Platform.
