Earlier this year, the company announced Mobizoft video content adaptation data would be included into DeviceAtlas, a source of mobile handset information for mobile content developers.
"Adapting video content for mobiles has traditionally been difficult due to wide variations in device capabilities," said Paul Nerger, vice president of advanced services and applications, dotMobi.
"I'm thrilled to see Mobizoft join the growing number of companies providing bulk data to DeviceAtlas. Mobizoft brings unique capabilities in regards to media streaming, which is at the cutting edge of the mobile Web."
The company also stated that this year that it would acquire the intellectual property assets of Mowser, a San Mateo, Calif.-based mobile browsing company in a bid to help them provide a more complete range of mobile content creation solutions.
